About Dr. Kamalaraj

Founded by Dr. Kamalaraj in 2020, The Arthritis Rheum provides rheumatology care for people with rheumatic disease in South and Southwest Sydney. We provide patient-centered treatment.

Dr. Kamalaraj has also founded and is medical director of South by Southwest Specialists, a multidisciplinary medical specialist practice comprising rheumatologists, endocrinologists and other specialists with a collaborative approach to medical care.

Dr. Kamalaraj enjoys spending time with his family, reading and following Liverpool Football Club.

Dr. Kamalaraj holds senior positions in governance for rheumatology training in Australia and New Zealand and recently led the curriculum renewal of the rheumatology training program for Australia and New Zealand. He is involved in medical research, with particular interest in vocational medical training.
