About Dr. Kamalaraj
Founded by Dr. Kamalaraj in 2020, The Arthritis Rheum has been a cornerstone in rheumatology care for people with rheumatic disease in South and Southwest Sydney. Our dedication to patient-centered treatment has evolved since our inception, achieving positive health outcomes.
Dr. Kamalaraj has also founded and is medical director of South by Southwest Specialists, a multidisciplinary medical specialist practice comprising rheumatologists, endocrinologists and other specialists promoting a collaborative approach to medical care.
Dr. Kamalaraj loves his work and he also loves spending time with his family, reading and religiously following Liverpool Football Club. If you support a team from Manchester you are still welcome!

He is also a leader in the field of vocational medical training and holds senior positions in governance for rheumatology training in Australia and New Zealand, as well as recently led the curriculum renewal of the rheumatology training program for Australia and New Zealand. He is actively involved in medical research and specifically is interested in research into vocational medical training.
Not forgetting his own education, Dr. Kamalaraj is board-certified in rheumatology and continuously seeks to advance his knowledge and skills through ongoing education and research. His dedication to staying at the forefront of medical advancements allows him to offer the latest and most effective treatments to his patients.
